Hill Run x BB

In 2022, we collaborated with Hill Run Club (HRC), a community of health and wellness enthusiasts. Founder, Allison Griffith, led the charge as she participated in her first full marathon. In an effort to capture this memorable event, we had the pleasure of designing some merchandise for her as well as the HRC family and cheer squad to help support her along the marathon trail!

The paintbrush and the hairbrush represent the intersection of art and hair. Regardless of which brush is used, the outcome remains the same: art. And as storytellers, it is the tool we use for creative expression while redefining Black narratives and spaces.

We are the authors of our stories, and we have the privilege of telling them – one brushstroke at a time.

Using the brush as our tool for creative expression, we redefine Black narratives and spaces. In doing so, much like in the barbershop or hair salon, we aspire to create the kind of environment that fosters safety and vulnerability as each client takes a seat in our chair and shares their stories with us.
